English: This photograph depicts the boatswain of SEETEUFEL, Karl Muller, smoking a pipe and hosing the vessel's deck, during Count Felix Graf von Luckner's visit to Sydney in May 1938. According to the secret files kept on the von Luckners by the Commonwealth Investigation Branch (CIB), Muller was: ‘afraid to go ashore because he cannot resist the city hotels and as he is 62 years of age cannot stand up to hard drinking.'
