Original caption: 400 Block of Hastings Street - 1910/2009
This block of Hastings Street is on the south side and just about everything remains from when the old photo was taken, which is quite remarkable actually, especially when you consider how other parts of downtown's heritage buildings fared. Some buildings have been modified more than others and the tall heritage building in the distance has taken the place of smaller buildings.
The building closest to the camera was built in 1903.
Also note the wagon and horses plus the streetcars."
