Another '70s compact rangefinder with plenty of solid heft to it, but which can still be grasped in one hand.
Aperture-priority auto exposure. Selected aperture and shutter speed indicated in viewfinder, like the Olympus 35RC. Takes a CR123A if you remove the red plastic holder from the battery compartment.
Some nice quirks: focusing ring pulls out to provide a lens shade (and accepts filters); similar flat-folding advance lever to the Oly RC; rewind crank and case opening lever stowed away in base plate; battery cover doubles as tripod mount; meter turns off after 40 seconds; five-bladed aperture has no setting detents. Hotshoe. No self-timer. Film counter only operates with film installed, and will not pass 36.
The black button that looks like a PC socket cover in fact turns the meter on and off. Comfortable, quiet shutter release.
Made in Singapore for Rollei.
Update June 2011: The stiff focus, squinty viewfinder and limited exposure control almost persuaded me to get rid of it - but one test roll of slide film later it's me that's sold!
